Here is a link to an article I read online, by the Campaign for Wool. An insight into the plastic being deposited in the ocean. How microfibres affect our food and ocean life. And how Wool can be more sustainable and can have great longevity if looked after.
We are seeing more and more pollution being deposited into our ocean, Wool is biodegradable in water and the sea meaning that when you wash your wool products, you don’t have to worry about contributing to the negative impact of microfibres in the ocean.
Trying to minimise our impact on the planet and working towards a more sustainable and natural product has been a goal for me.
Check out the article and video for a deeper insight into the effects of microfibres.
